Ascended Master St. Germain
The Ascended Master known as St. Germain,
was the inventor of the Shamballa system. In other lifetimes, he was
also Merlin the Magician, and Francis Bacon, son of Elizabeth I, and the
true writer, some think, of Shakespeare's plays.

St. Germain has a long history of service to humanity, going back more than 150,000 years. In his latest incarnation, he was born to Queen Elizabeth I out of wedlock in the 16th Century and was named Sir Francis Bacon. In that time, it seems virtually certain, he wrote the plays attributed to William Shakespeare.
Deeply involved in esoteric studies and practices, he became the leading spirit of Rosicrucianism. Evidence (mostly the lack of a dead body!) suggests that he feigned his death as Sir Francis, and traveled incognito through Europe, emerging as Prince Racoczy of Transylvania.
Finally, he appeared in the early 1700s as Comte de St. Germaine of France. He was welcome in royal courts all over the known world, using his influence for good. He held the same appearance for over 100 years in the 18th and early 19th centuries.
There are letters about this--some by Marie Antoinette's lady in waiting--kept in the Louvre Museum in Paris. Emperor Frederick the Great called him "the man who never dies." Even at table with kings, he was never seen to eat. He could leave the French court and be in India the next day. He manifested gems and gave them away.
He did much to help and feed the poor, developing lending systems, cloth dyes, and other inventions to help empower common folk. He worked diligently to assist the French king to realize that people must be better cared for under his regime, attempting to prevent the French Revolution.
He also was an ambassador between the English and French and other courts, working for peace. He was called "the Wonderman of Europe." Clear records of his activities can be found today in the archives of France, Germany, Austria, Holland, and Denmark.
St. Germain was last seen in physical form around 1822. He now works mostly from lighter realms, continuing to serve the world. One of the best biographies of St. Germaine is Comte de St. Germaine, by Isabel Cooper-Oakley (Theosophical Publishing House, 1912). In that book are listed many others. You can also read about him in the books, Unveiled Mysteries and The Magic Presence, by Godfre Ray King (St. Germaine Press).
He was very wealthy, but no one knew how he had accumulated his great wealth. He was a great painter and musical conductor. He had an extensive knowledge of herbalism. Some feel that this attributed to his long life. He was a master alchemist. It is said that he could turn base metals into gold.
He founded Rosicrucianism and Freemasonry in England. He did this under the name Francis Bacon. It was his dream to create in America a new country free of corruption, greed, and dictatorial monarchies. He was instrumental in formulating the Declaration of Independence and the constitution of the United States as they were being written by his Masonic followers who founded this nation. Their Masonic symbols can be seen on the dollar bill.
He spent eighty five years with the Trans-Himalayan Brotherhood which was made up of El Moyra, Kuthumi, Djwhal Khul, and others.
He lived for over 350 years, staging his death between lifetimes. As a writer he used the names Christopher Marlowe, Edmund Spenser, Montaigne, Robert Burton, Cervantes, Valentine Andraes, and Comte de Gabalis.
It is from his ascended state that he brings the ultimate gift of freedom - " The Violet Flame."
Human beings are the only
creator of 'hell'. They can accept and obey the Law of Life and enjoy every
good thing of the 'Kingdom' or they can disobey and be broken as a reed
before the storm, by their own self-generated discord. Each individual
carries his own heaven or hell with him every moment, for these are but the
results of mental and emotional states which the individual has created,
because of his own attitude. There is no other cause for them.
Over the humanly generated chaos of the past, there are being poured out by the Ascended Masters and Great Cosmic Messengers, great streams of Love and harmony upon which peace depends. Mankind, having so long pulled against the Great Cosmic Current of Love which ever seeks to bless, is now being compelled to turn around and seek the Light in order to survive in the midst of its own destructive emanations of the past."
Why do we need help from the Ascended Masters?
The
Ascended
Masters are our older sisters and brothers who assist us on our spiritual
paths. They understand how we feel, guiding us to stay clear in our
journeys to the Divine. The condition of the outer world is such that
those who are here seeking the Light must have more than human help if they
are to survive the present period of chaos which is accumulated discord that
has been generated en masse by humanity over centuries, pressing heavy on
the outer experiences of individuals today.
