Shared by and transcribed with Native Indian Medicine Man - Many Horses, this prayer is very potent. It calls in many Divine beings of Light for support plus brings in Divine Creator energy simultaneously with Mother Earth's energy into the body of the person speaking it. Notice what you feel in your body when you utilize this prayer as the energy pours in. Is there tingling, warmth, pressure, a breeze or other sensations in your hands, feet or body? This indicates the flow of energy as it comes in. Also notice where you feel more energy from the first few times you do the prayer and how strong the sensations are. Is it from above (Creator energy) or from below (Mother Earth's energy)? Notice how this energy changes and becomes more balanced and more powerful each time you do the prayer.
Ones personality flavor may lean a certain direction when one is not equally balanced with their yin, yang, male, female, shadow and light sides of the physical, emotional and spiritual bodies. If more energy from Creator flows in from above - this may reflect an airy, head in the clouds personality with lots of great ideas constantly floating in, spontaneous and in the moment choices, yet the person may be challenged with incompletion or lack of focus. With mostly Mother Earth energy flowing in from below, this may reflect a somewhat grounded and solid personality that is steadfast, linear and possibly lacking spontaneity in day to day living and choices or anything out of the norm. Many people shift from one extreme to the other at different moments depending on the level of stress or peace in their lives.
Both perceptions have reflective qualities yet lack a balanced perception of life, which if ignored or not developed further, may lead to extreme expressions of ones imbalance and the feeling of "losing it" somehow. Each is required equal expression and harmony to create a fuller, whole being who truly lives in the moment.
As one does the prayer on a regular basis, (daily is suggested - consistency is key) one will most definitely feel the shift within, as the Soul comes into balance and the flow of both energies begin to align themselves equally. There is an accumulative effect as the prayer is done regularly and its potency amplifies every time it is done. This creates an ever expanding reserve of Divine Healing energy within, that not only clears oneself, it clears Mother Earth simultaneously. This prayer also allows for one to become a Divine Healing channel when the energy is directed with integrity and clear intention. This prayer is done as follows in the four directions according to Native tradition...
Always begin by standing and facing east with arms up, angled out
and palms open fully extended to the heavens...
This begins to fill up your body with Divine Creator energy.
When you begin face East, then speaking, "Yellow Grandfathers..."
Next turn clockwise, facing South then speak, "Red Grandfathers..."
Turning clockwise again facing West speak, "Black Grandfathers..."
Next turn clockwise and facing North speak, ''White Grandfathers..."
For the next line... "Let me be hollow..." turn clockwise just slightly past the East direction where you began, completing the Circle of Protection and face the direction you choose.
Then as you speak "...Pure Healing Energy as it pours through me..." move your hands down in a sweeping motion overlapping each other, beginning above your head at the crown chakra, palms facing your body until you reach the root chakra, then sweeping below, out and low to your sides, palms facing Mother Earth "...grounding me to Mother Earth..." This brings the Divine Creator energy through your body and grounds you with Mother Earth. Here Mother Earth's energy is gathered in the palms of your hands as they face down. Hold this position for a moment, or as long as you wish and feel Mother Earth's energy fill you up and balance with Creator energy.
As you speak "Mother Earth's energy back up through me...", bring your hands up, overlapping each other, palms facing body beginning just below your root chakra "...through my hands, my chakras..." When you reach the heart bring hands together, each in a fist, knuckles meeting at your heart center and continue "...my heart..."
Now open your hands, palms facing you, moving up, extending above your head and in a sweeping motion as you speak, gesture out to your sides "...to share with all my brothers and sisters of the Universe."
Placing the palms of both hands facing your heart and on top of each other, continue prayer "Let your Pure White Light......with All of Creation."
With hands in the prayer position, held in front of your heart, complete with "I am Blessed... I am Loved..." impressing the prayered hands into your heart " and I am Honored" tip of the prayered hands move up to the third eye (mid forehead) "...to be a Chalice..." moving praying hands up to the heavens "...of your Divine Love and Light."
